A Blankie Story

Here is Blankie.
I made it 16 years ago for a dear friend when she was born.

It was a well loved blankie, indeed.

It is still well loved.

So...I made a new one.

She didn't want a quilt, but a puffy blanket with flannel backing, just like the old....

I cut circles out of the old blanket and hand stitched them on the new

so she could part with her friend of many years.

She still calls me Mama Tina.

Here she is with her new and old Blankie.
